Public Schools Week is February 24-28, 2025. It’s an annual week-long celebration dedicated to honoring the invaluable contributions and achievements of educators and education advocates in our public schools and the communities they serve.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025.
The Board of Education of Gallup McKinley County Schools will hold a regular meeting on February 18, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM in the board room of the Student Support Center, 640 S. Boardman, Gallup, NM 87301. Guests are invited to attend the meeting in person or watch a live stream.
During this week, Gallup McKinley County School District is honored to have phenomenal school counselors and Student Success Advisors committed to helping students identify their strengths, talents, and interests. These professionals also collaborate with families and community stakeholders to navigate the challenges of raising children in today’s world. Additionally, counselors and SSAs are crucial in enhancing students' academic, career, and social/emotional growth, while working alongside educators and administrators to create an environment where students can reach their full potential.
The Crownpoint High School Boys Basketball team will be traveling to Navajo Prep today, Jan. 29, 2025. Game will start @4pm and admission can be purchased at the door, use the link or scan the QR code to purchase tickets through Gofan. Admission for general is $6 and chair back is $8. Please keep in mind, if you purchase a chair back ticket everyone sitting in the chair back area will need a ticket, including children occupying a seat.

The Crownpoint High Girls Basketball Team will host the Navajo Prep Lady Eagles tonight, starting @4pm. Admission is free, please refrain from bringing in outside food or drinks and come support our student athletes. Our Boys Basketball Team will be fundraising in the concession, please remember concession is cashless with all major credit cards accepted.
This is a drug and alcohol free event. Chewing tobacco is also not permitted.
Admission for the boys basketball game at Newcomb High School, today, Jan. 24, starting @4pm can be paid with cash, debit, apple pay or may be purchased with GoFan.
$6.00 for adults
$4 for students/ seniors.
